Business Mentoring

Working on your own can be hard especially when you want to try new things, bring your ideas to life or are just unsure of the next step to take. Did you know you’re not expected to do it all on your own?!

What’s Keeping You Awake At Night?

There’s no getting away from it that when you’re running your own business you have to wear a LOT of different hats! But that’s not to say you should always be stressed or worried about the next thing.

When you book in, the first question I’ll ask you is what’s keeping you up – what are your biggest challenges or stresses right now? It could be an overwhelm of admin, too many conflicting priorities, not knowing what to post online, decision fatigue – the list goes on and I get it because I’ve been there too.

Let me be your ‘Critical Friend’

I want to help you achieve your goals and build your own version of success. I will be your biggest supporter and hype you up as often as you need.

BUT I’m also here to be honest.

I won’t agree with everything you say. I will challenge some of your thoughts and ideas to check that they will really get you where you want to be.

How my Sessions Work

The session is time and space for you. The agenda is set by you and there’s no topic off limits.

Before the session I’ll send you a simple questionnaire (only 3 questions) so you can tell me what’s going on for you. I will use this to prepare and make a plan for how I can support and guide you.

Here’s some examples of how you could use these sessions:

  • Clarify your goals for your business, and work out your priorities
  • Discuss new ideas (say out loud that one thing you’ve been thinking of!) and plan out how they could work
  • Look at your current offerings and pricing, and work through how these could be altered or new offerings introduced
  • Map out your current workflows and see where you can save time & energy, and reduce your admin
  • Talk about your email marketing. This could be developing a plan for your mailings – what you’re going to share, how often, etc. Or discussing how to build your list and develop your lead magnet.
  • Get advice and guidance on your social media marketing, and/or discuss your social media content
  • Plan your next business event – who, why, when and where! We can work it all out together.

What’s the difference between mentoring & coaching?

Firstly I’m not a coach – I don’t have a coaching qualification; for me that’s a key difference. Coaching is about asking questions and encouraging you to reflect.

Mentoring is more hands on. I’ll give you my opinion, offer advice and practical guidance based on my own experience and knowledge.

Mentoring Sessions with Corinne

My standard sessions are for 90 minutes; or if you’ve got something in depth you want to discuss you can double up. I love to work in person so can either come to you or we can meet at a local cafe or similar (within 20 miles of LU7). Sessions can also be run online via Zoom if you prefer.
Chiltern Biz Members receive 15% off mentoring sessions. Interested in joining? Go here.

Double up! (3 hours)

A longer session where we can get more in depth into your business and put together some detailed plans and actions.

Monthly Focus

A 90 minute session per month (over 3 or 6 months). Having a set of regular sessions can help keep up momentum and support you making progress.

My recent Business Boost session with Corinne at Chiltern Biz Collective was exactly what I needed. I left with complete clarity on how my new service will work from start to finish, including tweaks to the pricing model, refining the workflow, and even setting up my bookings page for quarterly sessions. Corinne’s input helped me move from stuck to ready to launch. And the best part? She loved the idea so much, she signed up for the service herself!

Corinne’s approach is relaxed, friendly, honest, and fun. She creates space for you to explore ideas without pressure, while offering the kind of strategic insight that really makes a difference.

If you’re procrastinating on something in your business or thinking of rolling out a new service, don’t wait. Whether it’s part of your membership or a one-off booking, make sure you get your session in. That outside perspective is a total game changer.
