Description
Canva is a very useful tool for small business owners. You can use it to create a wide range of material for your business including social media graphics, leaflets, posters, presentations and a lot more!
BUT if you’re new to Canva / haven’t used it much, it can be VERY overwhelming – there’s a lot on there!
That’s why I’ve put together this workshop to help you get to grips with how to use Canva, learn the basics and start creating your own graphics.
This will be an interactive workshop so you will need to bring along your laptop and already have a Canva account ready to use.
There will be 3 parts to the workshop:
1. Introduction to Canva
I will go through some of the basics of using Canva and how to create designs. I will show you some examples and also discuss the differences between free & pro account (you don’t need ‘pro’ to attend this workshop).
2. Create your own Designs
I will then set you off creating your own designs – the best way to learn is by doing! I will be on hand to support you doing this and have some tips to help you!
3. Q&A and Top Tips
We will end the session with an open Q&A to discuss what you can do on Canva, how to use different features and I’ll share my top tips for getting the most out of it.
The session will start at 10am, and last between 1.5-2 hours. It will be run and facilitated by Corinne Wallington.
Tickets are just £20 for non members, and £15 for Rise members or £10 for Peak members.
The event is taking place in the Meeting Room at D-Lab, Clarence Road, Berkhamsted. Please note there is no parking at the venue but it is a short walk from Berkhamsted town centre car parks.
