CHOCOLATE PANCAKE RECIPE
Makes 6 pancakes
INGREDIENTS
1 egg
2tbsp melted butter
235ml milk
120g plain flour
35g cocoa powder
20g sugar
1tsp baking soda
pinch of salt
TOPPINGS: Your favourite combo of icing sugar, fruit, chocolate sauce, syrup, and/or whipped
cream – but best of all, try something new and local!
METHOD
- Whisk up the egg and then whisk in the melted butter and milk.
- Sieve in the rest of the ingredients and whisk until all combined.
- Over a medium heat, put 3 tablespoons of pancake mix onto a non-stick frying pan.
Wait until air bubbles appear (approx 90 seconds) and then flip and cook on the other
side for 30-45 seconds. - Enjoy warm with your favourite topping.
