To mark International Women’s Day, Chiltern Biz Collective is hosting an inspirational and energising day for local female business owners on 6th March 2025. The focus for our day will be to discuss and define our own version of success to support you to create a “YOU shaped” business.

We will be joined by local female founders who will be sharing their experiences and their version of success. Throughout the morning we will be encouraging you to reflect on and consider your own version of success with a set of questions and prompts. In the afternoon you will bring these thoughts to life by creating a vision board.

As well as hearing from our speakers we have built in plenty of time for you to meet and connect with fellow attendees and to have discussions on the theme of the day & more.

The event is taking place on Thursday 6th March between 09:30am and 2:30pm, at Ashridge House, Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, HP4 1NS

The event is open to all local business women in and around The Chilterns.

Early bird tickets are on sale until 31st January for £74.
Tickets thereafter are £85 per person.
Your ticket includes everything you need for the day – refreshments, buffet lunch and an exclusive goody bag.

The Agenda

This is an outline agenda and may be subject to change.

As you can see, you are invited to arrive from 09:30; however the talks won’t begin until 9:45am and we will be relaxed & welcoming. So if you need to drop the kids off/ walk the dog/ do any more of the ‘juggle’ before arriving then that’s fine, just get there when you can!

The formal agenda for the day will be finished by 2:30pm.
For 2025 we have added an optional ‘Brew & Biz’ session for you to stay for an hour of discussion and connecting with other attendees, with a cuppa.
Again, we appreciate the ‘juggle’ that all solopreneurs and business owners face so if you need to leave early then it’s totally fine – just let us know.

What does my ticket include?

Your ticket includes everything you need for the day! You will receive refreshments and lunch at the venue, plus an exclusive goody bag.

I came last year, will it be the same?

No, with new speakers and a new venue it won’t the same – it will be better!

When sourcing the venue and organising the agenda we have taken on board feedback from last year. We have more interactive elements and more networking & discussion time with our Brew & Biz hour.

Can I park at the venue?

Yes there is ample parking at the venue.

What should I wear?

Absolutely anything you feel comfortable and confident in! We hope it’s going to be an inspirating and special event and is obviously a chance for a work day out, but there’s no dress code and we’re definitely not corporate!

The most important thing is for you to relax and enjoy the event.

What should I bring?

Yourself, plus a pen & paper.

We will have all the supplies needed to create your vision board but if you have any particular images that you feel you want to include then do bring these along. Also if you have any old magazines or materials we can cut up & use on the day then do bring these along too!

We’re not big fans of mass business card swapping but do bring some along so you can share with fellow attendees who would like to find out more and connect with you.

Who is the event for?

The event is designed for local female business owners. You may be a solopreneur, have a small team or freelance with other businesses.

I don’t like networking but am interested in the speakers.

Maybe you’ve been going to the wrong kind of networking events?!

Really the networking going on here will be chatting with other female founders over coffee & lunch. There won’t be any elevator pitches, selling or signing up to affiliate schemes.

The aim with all our events is to create a comfortable environment for business owners to connect with like minded people to support and learn from each other.

After I’ve bought my ticket can I cancel and get a refund?

I’m afraid we are unable to offer refunds on tickets purchased for Female Founders Succeed.

If you are no longer able to make it, you may transfer your ticket to someone else; just make sure you let us know change of details.
