An Event to Empower Female Business Owners to Show Up Confidently and Shine

Join us on 7th March!

To mark International Women’s Day, Chiltern Biz Collective is hosting an inspirational and energising day for local female business owners on 7th March 2024.

We will be joined by 3 expert speakers who will share their expertise and practical advice with you to support you to lean into your strengths as a woman in business and show up confidently. All to support you to shine in business, & beyond.

As well as hearing from our speakers we have built in plenty of time for you to meet and connect with fellow attendees and to have discussions on the theme of the day & more.

Key Information

The event is taking place on Thursday 7th March between 09:30am and 2:30pm, at The Barn Hall, Missenden Abbey, Great Missenden, HP16 0BD.

The event is open to all local business women in and around The Chilterns.

Ticket sales have now closed for this event.

The Agenda

This is an outline agenda and may be subject to change.

As you can see, you are invited to arrive from 09:30; however the talks won’t begin until 10am so if you need to drop the kids off/ walk the dog/ do any more of the ‘juggle’ before arriving then that’s fine, just get there for 10!

Similarly at the end of the day we will wrap up the formal part of the day by 2pm but you are welcome to stay to continue the discussions and networking until 2:30pm (but if you need to go that’s totally fine!)

9:30am – Arrive – tea & coffee available

10:15 – Knowing Your Feminine Power in a Man’s World with Nicky Elliott

10:50 – Making Friends with Your Impost Syndrome with Bekka Prideaux

11:25 – Dressing with Confidence with Margarita Salomo

12pm – Lunch

1pm – Panel discussion and Q&A with all speakers

2pm – Close

2:30pm – Leave venue

Meet Our Speakers

Nicky Elliott

Nicky is an entrepreneur, speaker, mum of two, and host of podcast Women’s Business, where she speaks to a collection of amazing women about their career journeys, from formative experiences to first jobs, their current role, and future aspirations.
Through her online platform Wilder Ones, Nicky starts conversations on work and careers, work/life balance, and raising the next generation of working people.

Bekka Prideaux

Bekka is a Leadership Development and Change Management coach and consultant. She works with individuals and businesses to shape their business strategy, and then how they are going to align themselves and their people behind it.

Bekka brings curiosity, fun and pragmatism to her work with top multinationals and small businesses alike. She is also a director for a local Networking Group, a mentor for Small Business Britain, a volunteer on Leighton Buzz Radio and Chairs the Board for a local performing arts charity.

Margarita Salomo

Margarita is a Personal Stylist based in Hertfordshire. She is an advocate of body positivity and dressing with confidence. 

She qualified as a Stylist in 2017 after more than 15 years of working as a language teacher.
Having always felt attracted to what clothes can make you feel, she is a true believer that if you like what you are wearing you will radiate confidence, and you will approach your day feeling positive & ready for whatever it holds.
